UPDATE: EZ Scan issue - invalid certificate

Hi everyone -
Some of you may have encountered a security certificate issue when you attempted to update your scanner.
Our certificate was due for renewal yesterday and when we renewed the certificate the process caused some issues with our EZ-Scan app.

We are working to fix the issue but have a temporary solution for those of you who may need to update your app right away.
You will need to uninstall your current app then download and install the EZ Scan app directly from our website here -> Downloads

TRX-1 - version 3.29.0.642
TRX-2 - version 3.29.0.642
WS1080/88 - version 2.39.0.642
WS1095/98 - version 2.39.0.642

If you can hold off on updating your scanner, please do as we are working on a better solution, but if you need to update today for whatever reason please download the installer from our website.

UPDATE: Looks like everything is working correctly now.

Update working correctly, new version of app available

Version 3.29 - May 22, 2019

  • Fixed a bug in the Talkgroups section that would not allow setting the LED color values.
  • Fixed an issue with validation of the new web server SSL certificate.

I'm still getting these errors when trying to update the PCAPP and the Library as well. ??????

I'm encountering a the same certificate issue. I've tried both versions 3.34 and 3.29.
