Having acquired three new scanners within the past six weeks, I decided it was time to redo things a little bit. Here's what I've come up with....


Here are my three workhorses working hard scanning the Chicago airwaves; PSR-800, PRO-163 and a BCT15X....

The rest of my scanners in the "bullpen;" BC346XT, PSR-310, PRO-107 and a BC125AT (When not mobile in my car)....

Pertinent maps and frequency / talkgroup information at my fingertips....

Ham and shortwave radios; Baofeng UV-3R HT (x2), Kaito KA-1102 Shortwave Receiver, a rarely used FDC-150A 2 meter HT, Baofeng UV-5R HT, Wouxun KG-UVD1P HT and a Yaesu FT-2800M 2 meter transceiver....

And finally, the aforementioned mobile mounted BC125AT....

edit: Not pictured is a Uniden BC355C (not sure yet where it's going...although I know where I'd like for it to go LOL)

Well, kind of / sort of but not really (yeah, I know, confusing).

They are under a clear plastic desktop mat. Keeps them neat and clean that way.

Looks great! Matthew knew what he was talking about after all.

I like the radios mounted under the shelf concept. And I believe every hot setup should include a personally- crafted rainbow pen/pencil holder to organize your manual writing implements.

You own quite a nice collection. I used to live near Alsip many years ago. The Chicago area has a lot of activity. There is more to scan than one can possibly listen to with multiple radios. I hope you are enjoying your three new scanners!
