Can anyone confirm if Ute Pass EMS is still using their VHF DMR system? Lately I've heard no traffic on the system. Today while traveling through Teller County I heard "Medic 1" on the new SW Teller County EMS DTR channel, not sure if that was a Ute Pass EMS unit or not.

The really weird thing is when I monitor several of the Ute Pass EMS DMR sites with my SDS 100, I hear very strong periodic bursts that sound just like DMR, but my scanner doesn't recognize the frequencies as DMR or display a Color Code in Search mode.

I thought maybe something was wrong with my scanner, but in band search mode it immediately recognized other vhf DMR freqs from a different CON+ system. Any idea what could be going on here?

I've been hearing "Ute Pass EMS" also, on DTRS TG 6143.

Let me check their VHF DMR channels to see if they're still active, and I will report back.

I did log their 153.5825 channel last month on February 23rd using CC 1.

Thanks, that is great to know. Also on a somewhat related note, unless I programmed something incorrectly on my NAS radio, the DTR TG labeled Teller NW FPD appears to be set for the Evil ENC. I believe I saw a RID of 445034.

Edit: I was monitoring this TG with my SDS and I'm pretty sure I did actually type the wrong TG for my NAS radio, that TG also seemed too active for a rural FD. Sorry I posted such horrible awful things on here about something being the evil EšŸ™ˆ...

6143 is countywide EMS dispatch, referred to as "EMS." The database for Teller County needs some work, a lot of the Fire/EMS description for agencies are speculative and not everything has been identified.

I am pretty sure 4851 & 4852 have not been part of the system in a very long time. They were probably provisioned by PPRCN for NE Teller County Fire Protection District long ago when Woodland Park migrated, but NE Teller never made the switch and those TGs were never used.

All Teller FDs, city and rural, are now dispatched on 6142 but some VHF is still in use. All Teller EMS, UPRAD and SWTC, is now dispatched on 6143. Don't know about EMS VHF.

I heard no voice traffic on any of the Ute Valley Regional Pass ambulance VHF channels today:
152.2925
152.3975
153.0800
153.1100
153.5825

There was some "BS Data" showing for 153.5825 on my SDRPlay/DSD+ programs, but no voice.

I did hear Ute Valley Pass ambulance get dispatched on a call with Divide Fire today on DTRS TG 6142.

Well, just in the last half hour I heard dispatch tell a unit they could cancel on a call.

This was on 153.5825 DMR CC 1.

Interesting. Were they dispatched on the DMR system by a private dispatcher, or someone from Teller County Dispatch? I remember a few months ago hearing some calls on Highway 24 and I'm pretty sure it was broadcast on a Fire VHF conventional channel, the DMR channel and also a DTR channel.

Nothing heard any of the Ute Valley Regional Pass ambulance VHF channels today since 5:30 AM.

Yesterday during the one transmission on 153.5825 the dispatcher sounded like the one they always had on their VHF channels.
