I currently use a ProClip mount for my BC436hp, but due to the case design for the SDS100, the side grips cannot hold onto the SDS100. Does anyone have a recommendation for mounting the SDS100 in the car, besides a Ram Mount?

Think this would work with sds100 in vehicle? Cup holder mount, and it looks to have retractable or expandable shelf extensions on bottom and sides.
Thanks, Jon, I will look at those. A friend uses the cup holder in his Jeep and wraps the base of the scanner with one of his wife's hair ties lol - it actually works well and looks good!
maus92 - The mic holder looks like it works, but the radio seems to be drooped forward a bit, maybe making it hard to read? Looks to be the most affordable solution so far. Maybe fashion a shim to stick in there to straighten it up? Looks good tho!
Adding photos to the mobile mount thread, using a mic mount:
maus - whatever works! It is by far the most simple solution I have seen. I use the same 2-cup console holder in my RV that used to be in my Freightliner (see shack pics) and that works well for me, but not in my regular truck.
I am wondering if anything magnetic in a mic holder/scanner cradle would have an adverse affect on the radio?
I don't think that will work well when you get the extended battery, especially for people that ONLY have the extended battery, which will fatten the back of the scanner an additional 8mm or so.
