Does anyone know what type of cable connection the Ventenna uses? I am thinking about changing out the RG-6? cable with LMR400. I installed it 20 years ago on my two story house so I don’t have easy access to the roof. I don’t remember the type of connection it has on it. I have to plan it carefully so I only have to go up there once. It is used for scanner receiving only. No ham transmitting/receiving or any other type of use.

The Ventenna HFp Vertical antenna comes with a short coaxial pigtail terminated with a BNC male connector. This design facilitates easy connection to your feedline. Additionally, the company offers a BNC-to-N adapter as an optional accessory, allowing for compatibility with equipment that uses N-type connectors.
