A bit of topic but this is the 1st handheld I have come across.From the Regency catalog 1975.

It would be nice if they made a pocket scanner today. Even the diminutive Uniden BC125AT scanner is too large to fit inside a shirt pocket.

I had one. For the same price today I would buy another one.

Uniden then came out with their 4 channel handheld (half the size) and u got that one too. Wish I still had it.

If we are going to talk about our first scanner and not UHF, this was my first scanner. Western Auto had it on sale for a mismarked price of $19.95. I got the last one they had. I still have it and it still seems to work (I don't have crystals for where I've moved to now to check).

This was a great little scanner, good volume, decent selectivity, and a great size.
