Vigo County Feed

Although I'm in Coles County, IL, I enjoy hearing what's going on in Clark and Edgar counties here as well as anything I can pick up east of IL whenever possible. I can usually only hear dispatch traffic (unless it's mobiles on a repeater) from Edgar and Clark counties, though it'd be nice to be able to hear more local stuff from than I do now, on the towns' own frequencies in those counties . Perhaps two different feeds for the IN and IL agencies? Or maybe one for police and one for fire/EMS? Though I don't know if there are many listeners here who would want to hear Edgar and Clark Counties, being such a mostly rural area.

Just a guess, but the corrections radio system in Terre Haute might tie up the scanner from hearing more interesting calls but I can't be sure..I never hear it at home. If it were me creating a scanner feed, I would just include fire and law enforcement frequencies (including the Starcom and SAFE-T systems) but that's just my own intrests speaking This may be a long shot, but it'd be neat to hear Coles County, IL on there too but I have my own scanner for that!

Forgot to mention that I am in favor of all frequency and channel/user/agency info appearing on a scanner feed! That is pretty neat to see when listening to any.

You and Me both...always knew what that sound was on there departure and I would run to the radio to make sure Mil Air was scanning!!!
