Sorry, yes another one of these posts. The old one hasn't had any action for 4(?) years so I wanted to make a new post.
If I read things correctly. Locution goes via IP to their computer in the hall. If the system doesn't get an "ack" within a predetermined time then it backups to TG 2704 and should that fail it goes to the 400 MHz system?
So essentially the only time we're going to get voice alerts is if they fail to acknowledge quick enough or if the initial system fails?
Is there a way to hear all the tap outs like Vancouver before FT ENC? Would it be worth paying the $60 USD for the DMR upgrade on my 436HP?
I know a lot of questions, just trying to wrap my head around how they have it set up out here.
