Wake County - Any changes

I have a Whistler TRX-1, I got it a few months ago and setup various agencies in Wake County and was able to listen to them without any issues.

Today, 11/28/2021, I noticed that I am not picking up Fuquay Varina PD, Holly Springs PD, Wake Country Sheriff.

I checked the database and I'm not even seeing Fuquay Varina PD in the table anymore. Holly Springs has nothing for the PD either, just Public Works, EMS and another group.

Has anything with these agencies changed? Can someone explain what is going on?

Anyone know if and when the county will be making the switch from simulcast smartzone system over to P25?

Another page started showing most of them rebanded to 800 MHz, is this true? Is this just waiting on Whistler to update the software?

Rebanding happened many years ago. That was also for the old system. You need to look at the new system called the Cary/Wake P25 system that was in the link above. They switched to it at the end of October. The old system was shut down

The strange thing is, I didn't notice any issues with listening to them up until this weekend.

There was some conversions last month. Also, FVPD went encrypted; HSPD stayed in the clear. You need to re-program your unit to receive all of the new TG's that everyone is on.
