Now hearing 911 dispatchers using "Signal 50" on LE freqs describing possible COVID patient on their dispatch information, BUT you don't hear its usage on Squad Response Freq. Also, hearing "Signal 39" being used by Oxford Squad and can anyone elaborate on its usage ?? THANKS.

Station 39 is Oxford, Don't remember a Signal 50. The only signal I can remember is 11 for an accident. Now it sound more clear speech, listening on Broadcastify. Been a long since I used then when I dispatched for Lopatcong PD, for out part of Warren County out of the basement of Lopat PD building. Helped number the police, Alpha-82, Belvidere-21, Greenwich-57, Lopat-74, Pohat-75, fire companies Alpha-82, Belvidere-21, Harmony-23, Delaware Park &/Lopat-74, Huntington-75, Stewartsville-98 and squads for Belvidere-21, Greenwich-57 & Lopat-74 back in the late 70s that we dispatched for.

Thanks for the reply. Only the Captain of 39 Rescue uses this "Code 39" designation to the Wrn Cty Dispatcher so hearing it very rarely.

Never heard the "Code" before like that. Other line officers use suffixes like 74-50C. I know when me and the former head dispatcher when we where in the basement of Lopat PD, devised the 10-codes and station numbers and units labeling, that us still in effect.
Back in the day the police and squads had there own frequencies, fire companies with the exception of Harmony and Belvidere were on 46.16.
There was no scheme for apparatus numbering. Delaware Parks engine was labeled as 262, Harmony's brush truck was # 3. Lopats ambulances were called car 7 & 8, Alpha's patrol was 4. It was a mess. Not sure if you looked at this link http://www.wcpublicsafety.com/firstresponder/documents/prefsuff.pdf
