Is Montpelier PD encrypted? The DB indicates NO, but a local asking for scanner help says YES.

Is Washington County Shf on digital P25? A thread from 2022 indicates YES, but the DB indicates NO.

If the database is incorrect it is because no one from the area submitted a verified report to the database asking for it to be corrected. Please remember the database is not built on FCC records or official sources, it is built and updated by members like you.

Last reports were No, but they might have changed or use it Part-time, only a substantial amount of listening will validate if PT or FT

the Sheriff was UHF, but not much validated for them in years now

I know how the DB works. If you read the forums for this state, for Washington county, in 2022, you'll see that there was a lengthy discuss and information gathering session about the county shf going to P25. You'll also see that the DB doesn't show that. One of my questions is about that discrepancy.

I haven't heard them in a while. Does anyone know if they have gone digital or changed their tones / frequency? I've been trying different settings on my scanner with no luck and could use some help. Thanks!
