Weare nh moving to concord fire alarm

The town of Weare had voted to move its fire dispatch over to concord fire alarm. Not sure when this will be in full effect but figured I’d pass along this news.

I have been in talks with a Weare firefighter and he said it woukd be in the fall of this year with testing going on earlier than that.

they can modify their license or they can get an additional license.

All depends on who they use to process it / coordinate it with the FCC

I know I'm a bit late to this party, but I can confirm this. I heard them dispatched by Concord fire alarm just a few days ago and saw them on the CAD as well.

I had heard sept 27th was the official date for the changeover, but I guess they have already moved. Good to know.

As of September 27th Weare will be dispatched out of concord fire alarm. Some radios as well as pagers have the upgrades already but the full move will be sept 27th.
