Can someone tell me what Cumberland County and the State Smart Zone System has to do with Union County?

What exactly are you asking here? Did you see an update for one of the state systems that turned Union County green, and you're confused by it? There were several updates to both state systems over the past day or so that would've affected a few counties, not just Cumberland and not just Union.

Union County is green. None of the "changes" have anything to do with Union County.

Union County is green because of a change to the NJICS P25 system, not the NJSP SmartZone system. It appears that you didn't take a few seconds to look at the change log for Union County before posting.

I actually did. 2021 was the last update/change to Union Co. Did they move Cumberland Co. into Union County?
Also big change from #001 to 001. Wow. Light up the whole state for that.

What's with the attitude? I knew from your first post that you were coming in hot, and didn't bother to actually digest what was in the change log. I was right. If you had taken a few seconds to look at the NJICS (not the SmartZone system, as you incorrectly stated in your first post) you would've seen the following entry:

That is what lit Union County up green. The STR II trailer, which is at New Providence FD, was officially assigned to Union County since it's going to be there for a while.
Sorry that you were so terribly inconvenienced by the county lighting up, I do hope that you recover from that trauma!
Perhaps next time you're confused, you can simply ask "Hey I see that Union County is lit up green, but I'm not finding any obvious changes...can someone please clarify?"
