Weird XTS5000 FPP issue

First, let me preface this with, Its probably a badly programmed codeplug, i didnt do this radio's initial programming, BUT i wont have access to RSS and cables for a few more days, so I havent actually looked at it in RSS.

I have a (VHF) XTS5000 on my desk. It lives in a convertacom in an admin vehicle.
Zone 1 and 2 are FPP enabled zones (and yes, it has FPP and federal FPP enabled), and the remainder of the zones are programmed.

In zone one (i havent tried zone 2 yet), there are 2 out of 16 channels which will not accept FPP edits. Its channel 10 and 16, if that matters. Attempting to edit any field, when you hit OK or done, it reverts back to the default that was there before. At first I thought it was a splinter channel issue, since i was trying to program in 159.9225 to start with, but it wont accept any change, i've tried 155.55 and 155.4 as well. I cant change tone, audio type, bandwidth or channel name either.

All 14 other channels in that zone accept programming just fine.

Anyone run into this before?

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Or would I be better off dumping a standard codeplug into it once i do get it on RSS

Its actually CPS not RSS.. RSS is DOS based.. All those settings can be changed in the CPS.. FPP is by personality not channel.. But depending on what version of firmware you have in the radio and what version of CPS you use you may end up wiping out the FPP option

Sounds like a programming issue. I swear at one time I had a 2500 with fed fpp that had same issue in a second zone around couple channels.

If I can find the plug which I save them all including issue radios I'll look. I wanna say it was something simple that caused those two to have issues such as TX type, analog or digital in the programming or something like that or combination of couple settings just don't recall off head what it was back then.

If it came from one specific shop or in hands of down in southern NM at one point I would guarantee a bad programmed plug, and garage monkeying with stuff.

^ 99.3% certain this is the issue with this radio.
