Open the Unitrunker program and select the "systems" tab. Double-click on the label for the Westchester system and will open up that system. Click the "users" label on the bottom. Click the floppy disk on top that says "export this system." Save that file to your desktop. It will now appear as a .xml file on your desktop. If you double click it and scroll through you'll see the labels attached to the UID and talkgroups ton have. Upload that here and I'll work through it but it will take a bit to manually convert it to .csv

A few notes on the log, all confirmed by radio traffic ID's have a star next to the description. All others are assumptions based on known department ID's (first 3 numbers in string) Some are wild guesses and some are posted with times and date they seem to log on each day. There are a LOT of ID's that only log on/off only each day so they are hard to decode. Some are out of normal ID numbers some are cloned ID's that have been stunned. You might want to just convert those that are confirmed since there are several hundred of them.
I had to zip them for RR to upload them.

Any update on this?

I have also found some UIDs:
i32502- C2211 Katonah
i32507 - E115 Katonah
i35000- Somers Base

I have found out that the UIDs are sorta numbered in a organized way. Each Department has its own prefix witch are the first 3 numbers and the last 2 are apparatus in that set department. In the unit ID if the last 2 numbers are 0 then it is the base radio for that department. Usually the chief of the department has an ID of i###02 but I have only found this for a few departments. Now as for Ids that only have 3 numbers in the ID (i###) are most likely the dispatch Console, and I think there is a pattern or sequence in with those IDs are numbered as well, but I have not found one yet.

Refer back to post #13 that is the most accurate description of ID assignment after listening for over 9 years.

Quote" i32502- C2211 Katonah

I don't know what that is, the ID should be for Katonah Chief portable radio. Just 2211 at least in Unitrunker.

The other 2 you listed follow normal numbering.

You may find that sometimes officers and personnel operating on the scene use a radio not assigned to them, probably because that radio is closer to them at the time.

For Dispatch I suspect that the ID is either the operators number or even a job assignment number. Since I have copied several hundred dispatcher ID's, (I don't believe that there more than 25 Dispatcher's), so my guess is a job number of the day assigned by the CAD to a particular dispatcher.

I am now going to start looking at the numbers and see if they increment during the day.

2211 is the chief car. The Katonah chef is 2211. i35502 is the unit identifier.

Not to be a pain but how long do you think this will take?

If you export it from Unitrunker and put the file up here I'll go through and convert it to .csv and combine the others posted as well so it can be uploaded to EZScan and Sentinel (I believe I just have to put an "i" in front of the UID for Uniden).

Is there anyway that you can import a .csv to freescann or proscan so that when this is done i don't have to manually import it into my scanner

Sorry but dealing with the hurricanes the last few weeks. I know with EZScan you import it as a .csv file.

I know with EZScan you import it as a .csv file.

I found out a way to import a excel into pro-scan.. Here is the post if anyone is interested

You should be able to without to much difficulty.

Here's how:

1. Using Excel, export to a text format (Comma or Tab delimited) file
2. Open the text file and select all (Ctrl + A)
3. In ProScan, select a group where you want the UIDs imported
4. Click the Get Clipboard button
5. Choose the Delimiter; Comma, Tab, or Custom
6. Click the Get From Clipboard Everything button
7. If any rows are grayed out. It's because not valid TGID or UID. In that case may have to modify the UID's in the text file
8. Once you have valid UIDs, the rows will be checked
9. If the UID's don't have an "i" prepended then prepend an "i" to the UID
10. Click Import
