Does anyone know what frequencies/ talk group numbers the Western Wayne "Urban Search and Rsecue" team use at the scene of a incident. Heard various conversations on the regular Western Wayne Co. Frequencies but don't know if the USAR use others.

From what I believe, they are on the MPSCS and Western Wayne Mutual Aid TRS. However, I will dig around see what I can come up with.

Westland, Garden City, Wayne and Inkster are on the Western Wayne System:

Western Wayne County Mutual Aid Trunking System, Westland, Michigan - Scanner Frequencies

I don't listen to it enough to tell you how much they are on MPSCS, but with the sheriff being on the state system now, I'm sure there is some activity. I guess scrolling thru the link I put up, Dearborn Heights must be using it too. Like I said, I don't listen to that too much.

Since USAR Teams deploy far away from their home areas, they might be on a Western Wayne trunked system for any day to day local stuff (since most USAR Task Force members are going to be with the local FDs), but should have a cache of VHF radios to deploy with.

And if they were smart, they'd use/train locally with the same radio gear they'd deploy with.

They have a cache of UHF, VHF, and 800MHz (not sure what system) on the trucks.
