What am I doing wrong???

I just bought a uniden bct8, programed NJSP analog trunked frequencies to it, when it is in trunked mode it doesn't pick up any frequencies, when I take it off trunked mode it works fine, but I don't know if I'm rec'ing all the broadcasts(probably not).
Please help, scanner is getting ready to make an abrupt stop against a wall!!!!!

@ the moment I am in new castle, de just over del memo br. and rec'ing broadcasts but not in trunked mode from them, like I said as soon as I hit the trunk button...it just continually scans

Listen to each of the control channels individually - 857.93750, 858.93750, 859.93750 and 860.93750. You should hear control data on one of them. Do you? If not it has nothing to track.

The talkgroups you want are the first column (you can't enter the ones in the second column, because 'b' and 'd' aren't numbers.)

You only have to enter the talkgroups you want to hear.

Make sure your scanner is set in the trunk mode for a Motorola Type 2 800 system, and that all of the frequencies are programmed. As for the talk groups, program the ones in the "DEC" column only. Do not program the "HEX" talk group ID numbers. That's all you have to program into your scanner. If you manually bring up the control chanels you should hear a buzzing sound. IE: hit the "Hold" or "Manual" button, the channel number and then either "Hold" or "Manual" again and you should hear it. Scanning it in the conventional mode will allow you to hear everything, you just won't see the talk group numbers on the screen.

Did you mean the PRO-2052 by chance? The PRO-2050 is not capable of EDACS, but the other is.
