What Happened to the Spectrum Spy Software?

I downloaded v1787 of SDR#. It works with RTL-SDR and R2 in Windows 10. Use .NET Desktop Runtime 5.0.2 x86, not x64.

But, I don't see Spectrum Spy listed in the SDR# download as before.

That's my favorite spectrum analyzer and the main reason I bought the Airspy R2. Without Spectrum Spy, my Airspy R2 is an expensive paperweight, as far as a spectrum analyzer is concerned. Fortunatley, it still works with the older versions of SDR#.

What happened to Spectrum Spy?

SpectrumSpy.exe hasn't been in any of the .net5 versions of sdrsharp.
Perhaps not yet converted or perhaps not going to be.

Easy enough to keep using an older version of sdrsharp if all you actually use is spectrumspy....or use other software to do your spectrum scanning.

In terms of the title of your thread....the question might get a response from Prog if posted in the actual support 'forum' for airspy products over at airspy groups.io Group

SpectrumSpy could be a nice tool if it were improved. Better is using a HackRF 1 with HackRF Spectrum Analyzer--very wide bandwidths at a fast speed (not as sensitive though as an AirSpy).

What I posted was incorrect, I had the shortcut on my desktop setup to an older version, updated it to point to 1784 and it runs fine. Sorry about the confusion.

I went to the SDR# download page, and there was v1784.

For the latest dotnet 4.x build (1784) check here.

It runs fine for me too.
