What is a signal 200?

I was listening today and they said there had been a signal 200 activation and LR and NLR were made aware. I know a signal 300 is after a bank robbery when the robber leaves the bank with the cash, but not sure about a signal 200. Any ideas?

A signal 200 is when a bank GPS tracking device has been activated, usually by the bank at the time of the hold up. Your bigger police agencies (and sometimes smaller ones too) can track that signal, eventually leading the police back to that bank bag that was stolen.

Alot of the police agencies routinely "train", intentionally setting off an alarm and letting newer officers track the device.
