I left about 5" between the table and the wall. This will allow me to make all my connections without having to move the table again. Everything will be behind the table and well off the floor ... as much as I can anyways.
I'm not normally the furniture buyer in the house, but when I came across this in the shop, it already had my name on it. They were made to order and that's exactly what I did. (The local Amish shop no longer carries this item. Damn shame.)
Before I retired, the bank experimented with a "work from home" effort and I used this at the time. Plenty of room to spread out whatever you are working on.
Heard from the store when I purchased the Paymaster's Table from and where I had the original aux. shelf contracted. A new shop will replicate the aux. shelf for the same amount as the first one. They've been given the go ahead to proceed.
