What to do when...

The control channel takes control and somehow overrides the lockout feature. I am running an RTL R820T2 with DSDplus and SDR Sharp. When SDR lands on the control channel I click on the hold button and then lockout, but it doesn't lockout, it locks on?

Also, I unplugged my R820T2 and tried it with my R820T and got same results. It never used to do that, I have the AGC at 10 and squelch at 70.

Light bulb moment, I just decided to see where my RF Gain was and it was topped out at 49.6, once I backed off on the gain down to 33.8 no more problem.

Spoke to soon, problem is back, I also changed the sample rate to either side of 2.4 MSPS no joy,

If you select a frequency by clicking on it, then that is what you will hear. "Lockout" is irrelevant.

I can't recall a "lockout" feature in SDRSharp or DSDPlus, either, so I'm not sure I understand the problem you are reporting.

You must not be running the Frequency Manager and Scanner plugin in SDR Sharp, that is where the lockout and scan buttons are. It scans just like a scanner, no manual tuning involved.

I should also say that this is for SDR version 1238, I have locked out other frequencies other than the CC and they don't lockout either. They show as being locked out but the are active?

FYI

The problems all started when I downloaded and ran Panda Antivirus software, so I unistalled it and now use Bitdefender. I also downloaded SDR Sharp version 1131 and installed Frequency Manager and Scanner plugin, everything is working perfect once again. SDR Sharp version 1331 runs smooth as silk, very nice .
