sedgwick county radio lately loseing control channel. state works great oh ya sedgwick county radio not any good. like the state has a better system.

Maybe try a new pice of wire?

Do the wire trick put a pice of wire Between the plug and ground it to the antenna works great on my 1040 give it a try

Which scanner are you using? If anything other than a SDS100 or SDS200, you are probably experiencing simulcast distortion. The Sedgwick County site actually consists of 10 subsites all transmitting on the same frequency at the same time. The signals arrive at your scanner at slightly different times which degrades its ability to properly decode the control channel. The SDS scanners were designed to overcome that issue.

Ensure that you program all channels on the Sedgwick Co. Tower; any of them can be used as a Control channel.
