Which Antenna To Get???

I just installed a bct-8 in my truck. I currently have the stick on antenna that came with the scanner, as the current antenna. The signal is not as clear, so I have decided to get a outside antenna. I dont really want to put a huge three foot antenna on the top of my truck cab. So I was wondering if I could put a antenna in the back of the truck bed, and if this would improve the reception. I am just going to be listening to the CHP. If you happen to know of any websites that sell these antennas that would be great. If there is a antenna that radio shack sells that would be good becuase that is the only place that is open today (Sunday).

I like the Antenex ASCANC (chrome) or ABSCANC (black) for scanner use. They're about 18" tall, and cover VHF/UHF/800. If you are going to mount it in your bed then I would just use a mag mount. I sell the antennas and mag mounts at http://shop.waltel.com . Just put ASCANC or ABSCANC in the search box for the antenna, and for the mag mount I would go with the G8 or GB8. Again, just search for either one of those.
