Good Morning.

Twice recently upon powering up the scanner I received an error code 400 with a message to contact Whistler. I removed the power cord from the scanner and plugged it back in with the unit back working with no issues.

Any ideas and/or has anyone else had this experience? Thanks

I have not come across any error messages at all since owning my WS 1080.
When you press the power button is it plugged in before powering it up?

Good Morning Ed and yes it is plugged in when I am powering it up. If it happens again I am thinking of taking a picture to post

Just for curiosity's sake I shot an e-mail off to Whistler support yesterday and am awaiting a response as well

seems like plugging it in while it powers up made it kick out an error... guess its asking well do you want me to power up or do upgrades? and gets "confused" - non technical term

Thanks.

Just recently received an e-mail return from Whistler and not sure if I could post it. But it is likely a hardware issue, has to be returned and they will replace under warranty. If I am able to post it let me know and I will do so for all to read

So some good/bad news and glad that they were prompt in the response and are willing to replace.

I hope that this is just an isolated case with mine and no one else receives the dreaded 400 error. I'll keep you posted
