It may be a complete flop...or it could be awesome...no one will know until it's out and about.
Yeah...I am on hold for a scanner purchase until more is announced on these. I have the dreaded 700 MHZ simulcast RX problem here.
I am very keen on Whistlers more treble audio, rather than Unidens proclivity to pump up the bass...makes listening to P25 cleaner and clearer.

My guess is still that the TRX-100 will look exactly like the WS1088 and the TRX-1. Similarly the TRX-200 exactly like the WS1098 (have I remembered 1098 correctly?) and the TRX-2.Whistler really needs to release some additional information about their scanner - cgi renderings, something - to help squelch the "it's vaporware" claims many are making in some other subforums on here. I'm like you, I support both and want both to do well.
