The Whistler Group’s legacy lives on through Goliad Products, LLC. Goliad Products acquired the assets of The Whistler Group in January 2025.

And before anyone jumps on them for only having 3 scanners listed let's give them a chance.
There are 6 scanners listed. Update servers are still down as well as the ability to download apps.

And before anyone jumps on them for not having links to downloads or updates, let's give them time and a chance to get fully up and running

Maybe it's the exact same people from Whistler running the Goliad business and they just wanted it to be a Limited Liability Company to have their backs covered? Perhaps Whistler told their debtors that either we file for bankruptcy and you get paid very little or you reduce your claims by 50% and extend the due date by 6 months and allow a takeover from Goliad to allow revenue to be generated.

They also only show scanners, and no other Whistler products. Did Goliad only buy the scanner side of things?

The Whistler Group was an electronics company based in Bentonville, Arkansas, USA.
Founded in 1971, the company gained recognition for its innovative radar detectors, power inverters, GPS navigation devices, scanner radios, and other mobile electronics.

Not the same people. Key word: was.

I would not get too excited about this. What are they going to sell? All they would have are old products. Where will they get new scanner technology products? Who will work on any firmware updates etc.? How about repair? We can all hope for the best, but unless they are investing quite a bit of money in a somewhat static hobby, don’t expect much.
