Does anyone know of a better skywarn frequency for wilson county instead of Central Carolina Skywarn's 146.8800? I can pick it up out here, but barely. It would have been useful this morning.

I like the ccskywarn nets. On the 146.88. I think they have on the K4ITL repeater but not as much. You can try them out with 147.105 output. If you need any more information just leave a post here or email me. Thanks

Yeah, that's the group I try to tune in to here in wilson, but it comes in real staticy. You guys are right though, 146.88 rocks! I pick it up well in Bunn (at home), and tune in their net almost every tuesday night. I guess I might need to think about an external antenna.

Brings up memories for me of spending long nights at the NWS office on Centennial Campus at NC State working Net Control for Skywarn on the 88 machine...those were the days! 73's Marshall KE4ZNR
