Ok I downloaded the info to my pro 197.....WIN500...I want to clone it to my pro 106....I have the 106 with freq's I hand loaded....question.....when I clone the 197 to the 106 will it lose what I hand programmed in? I see that it will (overwrite) not sure what this will do....

Yes, the old data will be overwritten. Download the 106's data to a new file -- say. with today as a file name -- before cloning from the 197. Then, with copies of both files, merge the two. Copy-paste and renumber, or re-enter, depending on the quantity. Hope that helps.

Let us know how it goes. Just be sure to work on copies of the original files, and every so often save the new file with a new name that you are creating. Worse case? You return to the last backup. 73.
