Whenever I try to listen to a feed using Windows Media Player I get as far as "Connecting to Media..." and then nothing happens. Can anyone give me some ideas of what settings on WMP I might need to change?

Thanks.

If you read some of the new posts on the Live Audio forum, you'll notice that alot of feed providers are having trouble with their feeds. As this is being resolved, there are bound to be errors. My feed does the same when i try to connect. However, its being worked on so just be patient. My guess is thats whats wrong, but.. it could be comething else.

I tried maybe 6 or 8 feeds in different states, which is what lead me to believe it's on my end. A couple of the feeds even indicated that there were listeners on line. I know that WMP is a bit quirky sometimes, but I don't want to install Real Player if I don't have to.

My feed shows online and it shows it has 4 listeners. However, its offline and has no listeners but it showed like that for over 12 hours. There are many feeds having the same issues. Fix is being worked on.

Thanks. Just my luck, the day I decide to try the feeds, they don't work.

Gary, you might want to try Winamp. I use it for audio only. It's easy to configure and it's not a hog like Real Player. I use Windows Media Player for video only.

I second for Winamp. For the feed from RR it works great, and shows the tags if they are sent.
