NWS has issued a "Winter Storm Watch" for Wednesday night and Thursday for the Northern Front Range and Palmer Divide.

A winter storm warning remains in effect from 5 pm this afternoon
to 11 am mst thursday.

* timing...snow will develop across the front range urban
corridor early this evening and become heavy at times
overnight into thursday morning. The snow will taper off by
midday on thursday.

* accumulation/wind...snowfall amounts will range from 6 to 10
inches... With up to 12 inches possible over the southern and
western suburbs of denver and over the palmer divide. North to
northeast winds of 10 to 20 mph will occur with gusts to 30 mph
along and east of interstate 25.
