WiresX Room Help

Hello everybody and thank you in advance for any help.
I have the HRI 200 connected to computer and to FTM 200 radio. I have software installed I can see my node in the top display I cannot see my room in the bottom display.
My ports are all open and check OK. Here is a screenshot of what I am seeing.
I hope someone can help me to get my room up and running thank you

Is the file on your phone or PC? Also, is it in the JPG format? What you can do is:

1. Crop out any extraneous content in the picture which will reduce the file size.
2. If the picture was saved in a huge size dimension wise, reduce the size of the picture in pixels or inches which will reduce the file size.
3. If the file is still too large to upload, re-save the JPG format and reduce the resolution further. That will again reduce the file size.

Play around with those steps and try to get the file size down to around 900 KB or smaller. The current file size is probably way up in the MByte range. Once the file size is below a MB, you should be able to upload the picture. I’m not sure what the maximum file size permitted is, but I always shoot for 500 to 900 KB for an upload.

Come come now… don’t be bashful…I know that by the looks of all of the rooms that have been set up already that there are lots of people out there who know how to do this successfully. Strangely, I have been having better luck getting Elmer‘s to fix my tractor on the tractor site.
Amateur radio is supposed to be all about Elmer‘s.
I want to unselfishly provide what is needed and put in the time to do something nice for the lady hams.
I just need a little help getting over the last hurdles.

Hi Bill @W8FFG. Hope your weekend is off to a great start. Even though I have the Yaesu FTM-500D mobile rig set up as a base unit, I don’t use digital that much and I have never tried setting up my own room. Someone around here should be fluent in the WIRES-X configuration and know all about setting up rooms. Hopefully they will see these recent posts and chime in with some needed information. Should be a lot of folks on Radio Reference this weekend so perhaps today or tomorrow you will have the Elmer that you need. 73 my friend, Dave K4EET
