Interesting. In the Ocean City waterways (the ocean, Assawoman and Sinepuxent bays), all the area agencies (Ocean City Fire, USCG and NRP) use MD Marine Tac 14 for water rescues. Not sure if Worcester Fire also uses it as well. Between OC and Worcester, there are a ton of interoperability-type tgs available on their home systems plus those on the state system (excluding strangely enough, the AV Tacs). Both jurisdictions have a series of "Coordination" and "Tac" tgs - I'm not sure what the difference is between the two types. Note that Assateague Island itself is in the Berlin box area.

I also like the idea of the common knob position on all radios (at least the Worcester radios), precluding the need to change zones. KISS.

Thank you! That’s what I was thinking but wasn’t sure. I rarely listen to FIRST but with the weather on the way may have to open an ear to it later in the week.
