The vendor experienced a contractual coverage issue in one area and cutover is delayed while they engineer and add an additional site.

Passing through Worcester County today... my G5 doesn't seem to get the county system along Rt50 all that well with the stock antenna (unlike nearly any other simulcast system I've monitored while inside the coverage area).

When I switch to my RS 800 antenna, it receives much better.

Curious if they are at full power yet...

Everything should be at full power but Harris is behind schedule building the West Ocean City site so the system isn't yet providing full coverage along US 50.

So, driving to Berlin today.... G5 picking up both the Worcester site of FiRST and the Worcester P25 system from Vienna (Dorchester/Wicomico county line on Rt 50)...

Was about to turn the G5 off since I thought everything down here would be Phase 2.... but wait a minute... getting Worcester Law in Phase 1 on their new system... that was unexpected....I thought Worcester was fully Phase 2?

Perhaps an out-of-jurisdiction radio roamed onto the system?

700’s are in OC proper, 800’s are at the Ocean Pines backup site. Simulcast in OC. Multicast in OP.

Sounds like the 800 freqs are defined as a separate system, but broadcasting the same transmissions.

Going through some recordings this morning....

Worcester County system:

13822 - probably Fire dispatch (tone alerting testing)
13825 - voice conversations related to tone testing
13829 - encryption!

Also noted -- encrypted iCalls.....

Monitored the Ocean City system for a bit this morning -- system was only reporting the 700 Mhz frequencies. No other activity noted.

System submitted to the database.

Are you able to separately monitor the Ocean Pines 800 freqs? It might have its own control channel, more of a standalone system. Or maybe it's just not online yet.
