On Friday night from our hotle room North of Dayton, oh., we were picking up numerous FD's on 33.64, 33.66, 33.68,and 33.9 MHz throughout the night.

rcvmo: On 33.64 MHz, did you hear any FD's using 44xx unit numbers (like 4410, etc.)?

I am going to have to scan the low band frequencies. I live in Sacramento, CA and remember quite along time ago I was picking up traffic in Virginia & the Carolina's.

Just remember one call about a vehicle's occupants throwing empty beer bottles out onto the side of the road.

Like another said earlier, it is nice to hear what the other agencies are contending with.

From what I hear, even 6 meters was wide open as well. Hopefully, we will have more conditions like this in the coming weeks.
