It all depends on what you need in a weather service... This question is as useful as "what scanner is best" :)

They have a free trial so check it out, if you like it - keep it.

Ahhh. Well, they used to have a free trial ;)

Again look at their samples, it's pretty clear what they offer.

Good Lord, $30/month for Wright Wx?
I haven't tried them but this seems way high.
WeatherTap is around $9/month

TWC doesn't offer any of the high-resolution, quick updating products that WW / GRLevelX / etc. offer though.

Used wright weather for years and love it, to me it is worth every penny, Also check out skywatch services, there EMWIN software is second to none and I just purchased the GEMPAK package from Skywatch but remember if you know how to use these tools it will help if you don't it may be overkill.

I looked at the site and they offer a 3 day trial ($9.95) also looked at what they offered and it looks as this site is designed for the profession by the professiona or as they said (You will soon discover as others have that Wright-Weather is the single most reliable source of weather information for professional meteorologists). There list of clients seem to be all corporate users, even included NOAA and also some news agencies.

I have even seen other applications that are simular, but the cost is very prohibitive towards someone doing this for personal usage (one service was going to cost over $100/moth) but again it what your going to be using it for.

I myself use weathertap and I find it is very good for my usage and what I want it for. But, the thing to know is what tools are available and how much you want to spend for them.
