Writing to scanner using ProScan’s RSOIP.

I just got RSOIP working. I can send the MSM command to my sds100 and put the scanner into mass storage. HOWEVER, the scanner is not selectable in the “select scanner” screen. It’s as if the remote computer is not seeing it. Any idea how to make this work?

You can't program the x36HP or SDS series over RSOIP. You need to access the microSD card locally in order to program the scanner. The x36HP and SDS go into mass storage mode when connected to a PC via a USB cable, at which point the microSD card is mounted as a local drive. The SDS200 can also be programmed via FTP in addition to mass storage mode (USB).

Learned something new lol. I should’ve got the 200. 🤦🏻‍♂️. The 100 goes into mass storage seamlessly but oh well. Can the 996p2 be programmed remotely?

Yes, the DMA scanners can be programmed by RSOIP. You can download/upload the database within ProScan.
