WS-1098 on Amazon

I'm pricing the WS-1098 again and I came across this much lower price on Amazon:

Has anyone else bought one of these from Amazon yet? I'm worried it is refurbed or something like that.

The price just seems too good to be true when everyone else is still offering it for over $500.

It's only a $17 difference from $500
Hamstation has it for $489

There is nothing wrong with that price and I doubt it's a refurb. You can easily find them for under $500.

I actually bought the WS1098 from amazon on Sunday, I JUST got the scanner up and working a few ago. Needless to say, I'm impressed with it.

The device is new. There was a few scuffs on the front plastic safety/shield cover, but once i got that removed - good as new, no more scuffs from when it was made.
