WS1088 Error 3-02 SD card not working

Ok I have a WS 1088 was working great, turned it on the other day and I got Error 3-02, telling me that the SD card is not working correctly.

Reformatted the SD card still same Error. Put another SD card in the radio, same error. Went and bought a new 8GB SD card, same error.

Anyone have this issued and might help me?

There is no "fix" for this. It's widely known and reported. I had to do all the same stuff. Went through 5 new cards. Same errors and others show up especially after an update to EZSCAN's database and then uploaded to the scanner. I have yet to see any Whistler people come in here to face the complaints so your best bet is to send them emails and keep doing it or call them. I gave up. I just bought a G5 pager.

Not all cards are compatible with the scanner.
Did you use ezscan "Prepare card" feature?
Did you use windows error corrector?

I only use sandisk 8gb class 4 cards in my whistler scanners.

If you don't have a SD card reader then get one. It's only a $5 cost. Format and prepare and write the EZ-Scan file you have done to the card using a seperate card reader and do not ube the one in the scanner itself. Sometimes it seems impossible to fix errors without using an external SD card interface.
