Hello, I'm somewhat new to the area. I'm looking for WSDOT freqs.(Road crews, plows, winter weather crews etc.) Are they just on the EF Johnson TRS or are there conventional freqs as well? How about State Ferrys?
Thank you

You can go to www.northwestradio.com they have all of the information. From my understanding of it, you can monitor WDOT in conventional mode, but their is no trunking scanner that can trunk WDOT..

The handhelds are on 151.040

151.040 used for the ferry communcations ... The DOT information can be found on this web site. Look for the site nearest to you and program them as if they were conventional frequencies. I've finally gotten around to programming the Seattle site frequencies. It might be too late for this storm. But when the next system moves through I'll be ready.

It would appear that the WSDOT LTR system can be monitored with an LTR capable scanner. I am very confused as to how to program an LTR system into my Pro97.. I thought it would be as easy as following the instructions in the manual. But that's not been the case. .. help!

Edit:It would appear that this system cannot be tracked with any scanner on the market. :(
