I recently purchased a SDS-100 and I am new to scanning. My understanding is that I can jump to the WX by pressing the top side button (F) and then pressing the 6 key. The 6 key also says WX. Nothing happens. What am I doing wrong or what settings do I need to check?

Thanks
Perry

A 'quick' <FUNC> + <6> toggles weather priority (not S.A.M.E.) on or off, when in channel hold mode.

Or, while in Channel Hold Mode, press <FUNC>, then press and hold down the <6> key for three seconds to go and scan the weather frequencies. If you have more than one in range, use the scroll knob to nudge the scanner to the one you want to hear. <FUNC> + <System> returns you to normal scanning mode.

Thanks, the channel hold mode is what I was missing. It's documented, but I'm still new.
