Have 3 XPR radio's. 2 UHF (XPR-6500 I/S ) and 1 VHF. The UHF units are I/S FM and have I/S batteries thatcame with the units, but sadley they are getting ready to be replaced. Battery code 1 is 210 and the second its 928. The VHF unit has the PMNN4066 standard battery. I also own a Titan battery that is similar to Motorola's PMNN4066, BUT it is 1880 Mah!!! The OEM Motorola batteries do not come in that high of Mah's except for the 4077C which is 2200Mah.
I would like to open a discussion on the best battery for my radios. I prefer Li-on batteries with impress condition. However; I noticed that the OEM Motorola batteries don't give me much of a choice when it comes to power options. They are either 1500Mah, 1400Mah and of course the larger/widest battery at 2200Mah.
If my UHF units have the green dot on the actual radio, would it make sense to purchase the I/S 57 green dot FM battery to go with those two UHF radio's? Comments welcome. Thanks folks.
