• To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:

Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value. All requests will be deleted and a forum infraction issued. Making a request such as this is attempting to engage in software piracy and this forum cannot be involved or associated with this activity. The same goes for any private transaction via Private Message. Even if you attempt to engage in this activity in PM's we will still enforce the forum rules. Your PM's are not private and the administration has the right to read them if there's a hint to criminal activity.

If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.

To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.

The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.

For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

This is a large and very visible forum. We cannot jeopardize the ability to provide the RadioReference services by allowing this activity to occur. Please respect this.

If you don't know what you are doing you probably should not be doing it anyway. What you are asking for is a sensitive subject and programming for non-affiliate scan is not something for beginners.

Reminds me of all the new DMR operators begging for code plugs, good grief. Do some reading and learn how to do it yourself. Especially this type of programming. No one is going to it for you.

I took a quick look at the system and I wouldn't bet on it.

From my uninformed perspective, it looks like this is a non-Motorola system. I would guess a Harris system?

If that's true, then it's quite likely the system doesn't use the typical base frequency that Motorola systems use. This base frequency is hard coded into the special P25 XTS3000 firmware.

If that base frequency is indeed different, then no XTS3000 will work.

Once again, I don't have local knowledge of the system but the fact it's not using the typical BEE00 WACN that Motorola typically uses, makes me think this is not a Motorola system and it might have a different base frequency.

The OP would need to check what the base frequency is but given the fact he can't figure out the programming, I don't think that's going to happen.

It is a VESTA Radio system made by Airbus DS Communications. It is P25 Phase 2 compliant which is good enough. No doubt Motorola hates them.

809.6125 sounds more like the repeater input frequency. Likely you won't hear anything on that unless you are very close to a radio that is transmitting into the system.
Instead, try the repeater output frequency, 45MHz up, at 854.6125MHz.

Wait..didn't you say in your last thread you now have an XTS5000 that worked

http://forums.radioreference.com/ka...um/349773-xts3000-programing.html#post2732998

Give it up already the XTS3000 WILL NOT WORK FOR THAT SYSTEM!

Its clearly obvious that you lack the ability to program a radio to non-affiliate all you are doing by messing around with it is possibly causing potential interference with the system by having no clue what you are doing.

SMH. I need to stop replying blindly. This guy has been at it since June of 2016. He's been told time after time the same thing. It's not going to work.

I've merged all your threads together into one large thread. Do not create anymore threads related to programming your XTS3000.

From your last post, it is obvious you have no clue what you are doing. You've been told by multiple people that your XTS3000 will not work on this system. Sell it, use your XTS5000 and be happy.
