The Yankton/ Yankton County system are both on a Racom digital system that is not monitorable by any scanner at the present time. I don't know if this is a Open Sky or Pro Voice system.

Yankton is on the the South Dakota Digital System not RACOM.

RACOM is not Digital, they are monitorable on any scanner also.

While we're on the topic of RACOM and digital - does anyone know if RACOM has any plans to upgrade sites to ProVoice anytime soon?

I read someplace that RACOM is talking about installing a second network that will be using iDEN technology. However, I do know they are promoting the newer ProVoice handhelds and mobile radios. I really think they would not do this unless their infrastructure supported this protocol or they plan on implementing it in the near future.
