I woke up to 45.180-167.9. ..The D.O.T was just on 47.100--dc 205.. Thought that was an input freq. 2 years ago, on my way to Kittery, I had an analog scanner with me. 2 cars in front of me were 2 D.O.T trucks plowing. They were using 47.100 and crystal clear.

47.100 D205 is the Cornish repeater..Chan 28
47.340 167.9 is the Waterboro Repeater Chan 29

I believe it was state. O.K, that aside time for a signalstalk moment. I just went thru my town with a pro83 _-only-.. Had the S.S set with alarm. When I came from ber/sber line, my pro83 S.S went off, right when I'm in the intersection and busy. I saw a 159.xxx mhz and it was producing nexden noise. I pulled over by my favorite yagi, to see what I got.. Well, it went dead from there. Came back to the real equipment.. Now it looks as though we got a new 1 after all.. I've been hearing on 467.925-pl-67.0, alot of mechanical talk.. 4 feet up--get me a 7/8... Stuff like that. Thats what I originally went out for.. Now, there they go.. Anyone nearby hear it? I know it's the gmrs service..I also seen Pike around today. Nothing new...

Well, anyone wanna pick this apart-do so, create your own list..As far as statewide--I know what I hear, never a csq---maybe someone does, I've never seen it..

Per the State of Maine OIT's CONOPS plan, this is supposed to be a CSQ freq (CONOPS 6). Most run it CSQ recieve, but still with a 7A PL for some reason.

467.9250 [Blue Star] IS NOT GMRS, it is business band and filled with a lot of bubble-pack radios.

Well,it appears I may have to make a signal run tomorrow. See who is using what on that bridge project. I know on 157.100 uscg constantly reminding all boaters of the no wake zone.. I been meaning to go there anyway. Wish I had 2 more pro106's.

In the interest of accuracy, here are corrections to this recently posted information... Maine Statewide Car to Car should be CSQ (i.e. no PL) not all units transmit a PL.

.....As far as statewide--I know what I hear, never a csq---maybe someone does, I've never seen it...

At 14:30 local today, Maine Lifeflight 2 called ground units at the scene of a shooting in Lebanon on Statewide Car to Car, 154.6950, NO PL transmitted. Verified as CSQ mode on two receivers, both set for PL decode.

There won't be PL on SWCC do to it being a CONOPS channel. All ConOp channels are CSQ expect EMS/LASER.

Actually, all the CONOPS channels are designated by the state to be used with NO pl only when actually in CONOPS mode. SPCC (154.935), NWCC (155.475), & EMS/LASAR (155.160) often use PL when used for non-CONOPS purposes by their regular users.

SWCC (154.695) & SWSP (154.710) sometimes use PL, but not always in their normal usage. State Fire (154.310) is or should always be with no PL.

This all was in reponse to an earlier post in which it was stated that SWCC used PL of 192.8. I corrected that misinformation and it was debated by the original poster.

Oh man, I dont doubt someone uses csq.. O.K, I accept it. Now, with yesterday in mind-yes they did use it yesterday enroute to scene. 2 entities.. I caught them using p.l's...Or can a pro106 recieve a csq signal on a channel that has p.l--or dcs? No way to tell, on my end.. So-the list should say--uses csq and pl-192.8..
