SDS100/SDS200: zip code programming

I’m going to add a follow up question to this thread:
Im the proud owner of the 436, 536 & sds100 and have everything programmed up nicely using favorites lists. Everything is great.
After using the zip code scanning, what is the process to go back to using my favorites lists and “turning off” the zip code scanning?

And I figured out it's as easy as turning off the national database.

And confirming you have at least one Favorites List that is not Avoided by some means or another. Otherwise you see that "Nothing to Scan" message of great irritation.
