The request would be for any newer radio repeater list with
frequencies and tones' , 'Repeater Maps', 'Channel names' for California.
If you have any OLD listings of maps or repeaters for California. That also can be sent for review.

Please post the Wing/Squadron VHF Nets Night info. What time they hold the net.
Many Wings run NETS anywhere from 1800-2100 local [top or bottom of the hour]

Now it's pretty much up to us scanner enthusiasts to SEARCH and Confirm the new channels as they come on-line.
138-144, 148-150.7 MHz is the place to search. Monitor when CAP has a major exercise planned on weekends.
Take a listen during the NET Nights and post back what you can Confirm in use for us, the wiki continues to grow with USER input

Repeaters are dual mode. P25 [digital] and CTCSS [Analog] capable.
Repeaters new outputs appear to be remaining on 148.1250 and 148.1500
Repeaters new inputs been on 143.7000 and 143.5500
The old input was 143.9000 or 143.7500 (Some still being used as of this post).

They will ID the Channel as "Romeo ##" or "R ##", "R ##P"= P25(Letter P after the channel name.)

Wayne..

Your info has me puzzled a little.

The NAC of $162 doesn't translate back to a valid CTCSS tone
based upon the CAP Conversion Chart.

Might this be a CTCSS Tone vs a NAC, where the NAC would then be $656
when they do use P25 ??

I added to the CAP WIKI a copy of the conversion chart that CAP uses.

I brought this up in another CAP thread regarding the difference a few months back. It's what both sites used, I can confirm it. The site PL is 162.2 so it does make some sense.

For what its worth, I was getting a periodic kerchunk or data burst on a frequency that turned out to be an image of 148.1500. On the analog side, it would spit out 162.2. On the digital side, it would spit out N656.

I haven't heard the NAC on the actual CAP freq yet, but given that the analog tone was matching up, I would think the NAC would also match up.

If it makes a difference, I received the NAC on a pro-197.

I've been able to confirm that they are using N656 in California. I believe its from the same site that previously used 162.2.

149.5350 would be the old 149.5375 100.0 Hz

GUARD so far [East Coast] has been found on 150.2250 162.2 Hz
Since the Code Plug is based on a National usage, I would not expect
there to be an east/west difference.

Good find on those other missing channels.

They are now using R-64 Portable/Airborne repeater with a ctcss tone of 203.5 on 148.1500. They been using a mountain site the past few days. They made the switch this Tuesday morning from R-62 repeater to R-64 repeater.

If you can't copy the above 148.1500 box. It's also being repeated on 142.2625

From the old days, and still true with the new civil air patrol radio upgrades.
A repeater with 203.5 Hz is a Temp / Tactical Repeater
