Did do all updates, so is ready to be used out of the box. This is a real Whistler 1080, not a RadioShack Pro 668 which usually goes for $260 without updates, or any extras. Buy the real Whistler WS 1080 and be able to do DMR without having to pay Whistler over $60 to sent it out for weeks.
