Heh, thats an awesome truck ... needs a better snorkel but hey, for driving through some deep water its cool ...

... I think people have gone a bit too far with the "wacker" thing ... regardless of what he does ... them lights are his, and his alone, let him worry about the laws regarding them ... at any rate nice lighting install, nice radio install (i like the over-head setup ;)).

He posted pictures of his set-up for observation and opinions. I gave mine. He sent me a pm with incorrect information. I cited the correct and applicable law(s). I think that just about covers it.

It's not up to you to pass judgment on someone's install nor does someone need to prove anything on this forum. Drop the subject, which goes for anyone else in this thread insinuating the same.

The truck looks cool because it kinda reminds me of a new-age MadMax vehicle or something! Some night shots with the floods on would look cool!

To the guy that says the lights are illegal, why are they illegal? I didn't know there was any limit to the amount of clear lights you can have mounted on your vehicle. I believe some states require lights higher than the vehicles headlights to be covered while on the street but I don't know why just having them would be illegal. He already said they are for off road. I have quite a few lights mounted on my jeep facing both forward as well as rearward and know quite a few people that have as many or more than myself in a similar fashion and have never heard of anyone getting ticketed or hassled in any way about them. Not saying your wrong or trying to start an argument, just curious why they wouldn't be legal.

Now to the guy with the ranger. I like the truck. I was wondering about how you have the 2m and CB mounted. I had my CB mounted there in my Jeep but recently replaced it with my 2meter. I have been looking for options for relocating the CB and considered stacking them like that but was concerned about blocking the rear view. It looks like it is pretty much right in front of it, is it blocking it like it looks like it is and isn't that an issue?
