Ok so confirmation from the radio provider. The 468 freq will stay analog. That way fans and other drivers/teams etc can hear it easier. Other comms nada. Indy series claims they will do something in future to update fans about the current scanner situations.

Racing Electronics is posting the link on their Race Day Information page to the IndyCar website spotters guide. The spotters guide will show frequencies when you click on the driver. The PDF spotters guide unfortunately does not have this information.

IndyCar Radio was on 450.8875 at St. Pete and TMS. They are posting their frequency on their Twitter. I'm curious if they will switch to the usual 454.0000 at IMS.

IMS usually has an independent radio seller/renter with a Uniden banner outside of Turn 4 at the southwest corner of 25th Street and Georgetown during May.

Location
Marion/Johnson County, IN
All four of these were active today in Texas. All Encrypted DMR.
451.200
452.125 S1 CC3
461.050
463.300 S1 CC10

Race Control was on 468.825 in the clear.

All Frequencies on the Spotters Guide were good.

Indycar Practice (Brickyard) - 4/20/22

452.125 TG 1003 CC3 TS1 ENC
452.125 TG 1004 CC3 TS2 ENC *busiest
463.300 TG 1005 CC10 TS1 (no audio heard, keyups only)

*Nothing heard on 464.175 CC12 which was used by the officials last year.

Oddly, nothing heard on the existing and new IMS track frequencies (listening from Greenwood where I should hear these): ULS Application - Industrial/Business Pool, Conventional - 0009991093 - Indianapolis Motor Speedway, LLC

I kinda except none of the old dmr frequencies found in past and more of the ones on the new fcc license. With exception of 468 and maybe one spare analog.

The speedway(indiapolis) offered him RE's old trailer position inside the Main Entrance/Gate1 which is Turn 1, and he has accepted it. You might pass his new location on to any scanner groups you know of. They won't find him down outside Turn 4 this year.

New location for the scanner rental sales guy.

I was double checking for licenses around World Wide Technology Raceway and noticed a new license for IndyCar, LLC. WRQI561 was granted on 04/26/2022 and covers the following tracks:
1) World Wide Technology Raceway, Madison, IL
2) Portland Intl Raceway, Portland, OR
3) WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, Salinas, CA

The website posted by someone in another indy thread INDYCAR Scanner Information After emailing the new radio provider and hearing a reply from them that they didn't plan to sell or rent. Or even post frequencies. I told them and indycar Corp that there are tons of irritated fans. Indy corp. replied that there was something in the works kinda a pr thing coming out to address all of this. I gave Indy Dan's indysite and this as a Corp. Good to see they followed thru!!! Yay

Attached is the confirmed frequency list after the GMR GP.
Several teams changed DCS subtones. Hopefully no more changes before the 500.

Since Indycar is pointing fans to the Indycar App and without Racing Electronics at the track, the days of unencrypted analog driver to team communication may be numbered.

Attached is the first version of files for the Uniden BC125AT and the Uniden SC230 for the Indy 500 Time Trials.

The SC230 file can be programmed with ARC-Sport Lite.

The BC125AT can be programmed with the Uniden BC125AT_SS software

If you can get your hands on a used SC230, buy it! The race track mode allows grouping multiple frequencies of a driver and allows a separate Car 6 for Montoya and Car 06 for Castroneves. Along with the ability to store DCS tone codes to help filter out unwanted transmissions, there is a reason some Nascar pit reporters still use this scanner.

Since the Racing Electronics RE3000 is on backorder, the best available new scanner is the Uniden BC125AT with the same tone code storage and "alpha tagging" capability to add the driver names.

Lol I got uhm gosh brain fart 4 230s? Abt the same of 330s I absolutely love the racing mode. They come in handy for places where u got analog vhf and uhf still. Re3000 is not being discontinued or changed. It will be back August ish. I do not think analog will go away. Radio provider for Indy told me 468 race control is and will stay for fans and drivers to monitor. All of the indy teams I've seen have either a nex edge or Trbo radio. There still analog. One slight error to indy.com new scanner page. The scanner trailer location is only one spot. The provider couldn't get enough supplies and staff to run two trailers. I guess if one is unemployed they could talk to him as he needs staff. Issues also with getting enough scanner and accessories as well.

Arc for both 230 and 330 are awesome and I use them. Another alt software for 125 is scan125. I also use scan125 as well.

Thank you chocolate_nault!

You have a few DCS codes that I was missing. Also, a quick glance to what I was hearing from this past weekend in terms of frequencies and squelch codes matches up in case anyone wanted validation.
