Anyone know wo CFD 4200 is?
I'm assuming CFD is Chicago fire dept.

never heard of 4200 as a CFD radio callsign
CPD 4200 is the commander for area 2 saturation teams
It was only used during the DNC, never to be used again by CFD. It was one of the two CFD EMS Command Posts and those radio signatures were chosen by the request of the 3 letter government agencies and as mentioned CFD doesn't use 4200/4300.
CFD was only allowed to work the "footprint" as contract EMS worked the inside of the two locations mentioned. CFD acts as "support" on large-scale events as private providers work the inside and can respond inside per request. City-sponsored events (not private entities like Bank of America Chicago Marathon), require CFD to be the primary EMS provider. To sum it up, it was a labor dispute awhile ago which we were successful.
As expected, most activity was encrypted. Event-1 through Event-3 (C-11 though C-13 on the radios) was the primary channels CPD was using. Some of the 7013-7023 talk groups were only set up for the DNC and once all the radios are returned, will probably not ever be used again.

DNC Air Here's the recordings of the P25 Radio Traffic which is 32 minutes long and for the Air communication's which is 8 hours long. just request access and i will grant you it for anyone who wants to listen.

No problem I waited a long time for this event to see what kind of radio traffic I could get and it all paid off.
Confirming this is 409.525? Did you catch any RIDs? It sounds like just one or two radios were transmitting in the clear with other enc.
